SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — The fourth annual Blue Ribbon Award winners were announced Thursday, recognizing and honoring the achievements and impact of businesses in South Shore. Awards in eight categories were presented to businesses and/or individuals who have made notable contributions to the sustainability of and quality of life in the community.

The dinner was hosted by the Lake Tahoe South Shore Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority was held at Embassy Suites Lake Tahoe Hotel and Ski Resort.

The winners are:

Geotourism: Tahoe Rim Trail Association

Tourism: Lake Tahoe Visitors Center

Experience: Escobar Training Grounds

Entrepreneur: Carl Ribaudo, Strategic Marketing Group

Customer Service: Brian Cohen, Overland Meat and Seafood Company

Public Agency Service: Gary Weigel, TRPA

Large Green Business: Amador Stage Lines/South Tahoe Express

Small Green Business: Winters Electric
